Synonyms
[edit]- Capnini Banks, 1900: 240, 241. (Original spelling, if taken as latinised Greek (from καπνίας, smoky), should be have been Capniini, specified as a tribe within Perlidae.
- Capniinae Banks, 1938: 73, formation of name altered, within Perlidae.
- Apteroperlidae Matsumura, 1931
- Type genus: Apteroperla Matsumura, 1931, (subjective synonym of Capniidae Banks, 1900.
