Holotype: ♂ BMNH No. Rh. 16803: "Dutch New Guinea, Weyland Mountains, Menoo Valley, Mount Kunupi, 6,000ft, xii-i, 1920-21 (Pratt Bros)". Allotype ♀ BMNH No. Rh. 16804, same data.
