Lichenicolous fungus - parasite on living lichens

Hosts: (Sonoran region:) Commensalic to slightly parasitic on thalli of Phaeophyscia cernohorskyi, Phaeophyscia hirsuta, Phaeophyscia hispidula and Phaeophyscia orbicularis; (outside the Sonoran region:) on Phaeophyscia sciastra (host of the type), Phaeophyscia endococcinodes and Phaeophyscia hirtuosa; host thalli not or only slightly discolored by the infection
