• Holotype: NMI, ♀

Synonyms

• Tydeus kattai, original combination
• Lorryia kattai, subsequent combination proposed by Kaźmierski (1998: 337)
• Brachytydeus kattai, subsequent combination used by Silva et al. (2016: 17)

Notes

• The species was erroneously attributed to Momen (1994) by Kaźmierski (1998: 337).
