- Holotype: QM G337401 (Sample 109-126.1), collected by Merrick Ekins on RV Investigator, Cruise IN2017_V03, on 11 May 2017.
- Type locality: “off Fraser Island, Station 109, Queensland, Australia, 25º13’15.6”–25°15’10.8” S, 154º9’50.4–154°11’31.2” E, 4006–4005 m”.
