Holotype: SMF 105181, specimen in ethanol, collected by D.Janussen on 6 March 2005.

Type locality: “PS67/102-11, Agassiz trawl; coordinates: start 65°35.40'S 36°29.00'W—stop 65°35.51'S 36°28.83'W; water depth: 4794–4797 m”, Weddell Sea.
