Holotype: MLP 08-XI-30-1, an isolated right p4 or m1.

Type locality: Seymour (Marambio) Island, Antarctic Peninsula. La Meseta Formation, cucullaea I Allomember (Marenssi et al., 1998). [dPV 2/84, TeLM 4 of Sadler (1988) (Marenssi et al., 1994)].
