Type locality: Zimbabwe, "Rhodesia: Rusape". [False locality, see Williams, 2008 - recte South Africa (Limpopo Province)].
Holotype: ♂ NHMBZ: "vi.1926 (R. H. R. Stevenson), (NMR, Bulawayo)".
