Type locality: South Africa, Natal.
Holotype: ♂ BMNH: "Natal, Gillitts, Durban i.xii.1921 (Dr. L. G. Higgins), Type No. Rh. 18566".
Allotype ♀ BMNH: "Natal: no further detail, Type No. Rh. 18567".
