Name[edit]

Holotype: MACN 23486, adult ♂, skin, skull, skeleton and tissues in alcohol.

Type locality: “Pampa de Achala, 6 km E (by highway 34) from antena repetidora La Posta, 2200 m (31º36’ 44.5” S, 64º 48’ 48.7” W), San Alberto Department, Córdoba Province, Argentina.”

Holotype: IADIZA-CM 6268 (OMNH 36364), adult ♂, skin, skull, skeleton, tissues.

Type locality “Argentina: San Luis: Coronel Pringles, 9 km N Paso del Rey, elevation 4,800 feet (1,455 m).”
