Yang 58647 (in fruit, [29 June 1958]; Holotype: PE 00028394 (637621)^{(CVH, GBIF, NSII)}; Isotypes: MO-247318 (04534512)^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}, PE 00188426 (0878374)^{(CVH, GBIF, NSII)} [determined by the authors on 15 December 1975]; cf. IBK [IBK00008595 (156242)^(CVH)], IBSC 0060980^(CVH) [stored as Litsea sp.], SHM {SHM0015048 (14924)^{(CVH, GBIF, NSII)}, SHM0015049 (14925)^{(CVH, GBIF, NSII)}} [both stored as "Actinodaphne multinerbia Yang et Huang sp. nov. • Type locality: China. 四川 [= Sichuan; now Chongqing]: 巫渓 [= Wuxi County].

Native distribution areas:
Continental: Asia-Temperate Regional: China China South-Central (Chongqing). Note: Yang et al.
