Name

Combinations

  • Megatrioza curta: Tuthill, 1952: 122 (inferred placement from 'In general structure and appearance this [Trioza curta] and the preceding species [Trioza adventicia] are very similar. They fall into the group of species which Crawford segregated as Megatrioza, based on a series of characters not one of which will hold for the entire group. Most of the species which have been variously referred to Megatrioza undoubtedly constitute a natural group, but I do not feel it is worthy of generic status. It may properly be considered a subgenus.')
  • Powellia curta: original combination
