  • Type locality: INDONESIA: W-Papua, ca. 130 km SE Kaimana, Omba (= Yamor) river, 10–20 km from coast, S4°05'49", E134°54'09", 10–20 m.
  • Holotype: NME, ♂, 09.–11.II.2011, leg. A. SKALE (008).
  • Etymology: The specific epithet (superlative of the Latin adjective acutus: sharp) alludes to the shape of the ventral process of the aedeagus.
