Miltianthus –
Roepera –
Tetraena –
Zygophyllum
Name
[edit]Zygophylloideae Arn., Encycl. Brit. (ed. 7) 5: 104 (1832) (“Zygophylleae”).
- Type genus: Zygophyllum L., Sp. Pl. 1: 385 (1753).
Note: Christenhusz et al. (2018) embed Augea, Fagonia and Tetraena into Zygophyllum s.l. making the required new combinations, they cite Beier, Chase & Thulin (2003) and Sheahan & Chase (2000) as justification. This has yet to be universally adopted and so they remain segregated, as WS has to adopt a conservative approach. See also discussion page.
