  • Holotype: UAZ 13905, adult ♂, collected by Robert L. Bezy and Wade C. Sherbrook on 5 March 1965.
  • Type locality: “Granite Station, 9.1 mi (by rd) S Woody, 1700 ft., Kern Co., California”.
