Name[edit]

Wetmorethraupis sterrhopteron Lowery & O’Neill, 1964

  • Holotype: LSUMZ 31457, Jul 1963; obtained indirectly by J.P. O’Neill from Aguaruna Indians.
  • Type locality: Chávez Valdivia, near confluence of the Rio Comaina and the Rio Cenepa, 4°26' S, 78°11' W, Amazonas, Peru.
