Hello, Our current strategy is to link locally to authors and then add the interwikis there. The way in which interwikis work has recently changed and now they appear in left unless prefaced with a :. See my change to Dendrobatidae. Open2universe 18:06, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Interwikis and sisterwikis[edit]
Yes, we know about the interwiki issue. The change came suddenly, but we had been discussing Vernacular names versus interwikis for a while. See Wikispecies:Village_pump#interwikis. There is a bot in place to do some of these tasks, but I believe it went on holiday for the new year. User:HarrivBOT.
As to the Sisterwiki templates, we don't have these. For commons, see the current template at Wikispecies:Templates#Link Templates to see if this will work for you. If they don't then you could bring the templates over if you would like.
