There appears to be a backlog of pages to be merged at the moment (see Category:Pages to merge), so I'm making a list here for convenience.
For some of these, it's clear which page should be merged into the other, for others it's not as clear (and might even be a matter of opinion?). I've put a (?) next to the ones I'm not sure about. I've also put other notes in brackets if I think they're helpful.

Note: For the great majority of these (and other author page duplicates not listed as needing merging yet), the shorter-named pages were created first, and the full (or fuller) named pages were created some years later. Presumably the first in each pair had been forgotten about by mistake.

[note: Second page was created first, though honestly I'm not sure if we should be using hyphens on all names on Chinese authors, including ones that never use hyphens in their names in English; but to be consistent with the current system this is the way they should be merged?]

- Gabriel A. Lugo-García → Gabriel Antonio Lugo-García [note: First page was created first]
- Jesús Martínez → Jesús Martínez Menéndez [note: First page was created first; this is likely a Spanish name so "Martínez" would be the paternal surname and therefore the name to sort by]
- Moysis Mylonas → Moisis Mylonas (?) [note: First page was created first; however, this is a Greek name and the author has used both spellings (which are transliterations); I'm not sure which spelling is "correct" or which one the author prefers]
- W.R. Richards → William Robin Richards [note: First page was created first]
- Jan Vybíra → Jan Vybíral [note: First page was created first, but it is a misspelling]
