  • Holotype: USNM 558253, adult ♀, collected by W.E. Peterman, J.R. Milanovich, K. Holcomb, D. Sollenberger, A. Grosse and S. Sterrett on 30 March 2007.
  • Type locality: “Small, first-order stream located at the foot of the Blue Ridge escarpment in Stephens County, GA, USA (34°39′N; 83°18′W)”.
