Holotype: ZMMU A5953 (field number NAP-08318), adult ♂, collected by Than Zaw, Paw Lay, Parinya Pawangkhanant, Vladislav A. Gorin, and Nikolay A. Poyarkov on 18 July 2018.

Type locality: “from a swamp in a forest clearing surrounded by montane evergreen tropical forest, Ingyin Taung Mountain, Indawgyi Lake area, Mohnyin Township, Kachin State, Myanmar (approximate coordinates N25.09°, E96.28°; elevation 1 000 m a.s.l.)”.
