Trygonorrhina fasciata Müller & Henle, 1841

  • Syntypes: MNHN 0000-1266 (1), 1986-0571 (1, dry).

Type locality: Port Western [Westernport], Victoria, Australia.

Etymology: fasciata (= banded), referring to transverse bands on back, dorsal fin and tail. (From: The ETYFish project)
