Name[edit]

Neotrygon kuhlii (Müller & Henle, 1841)

  • Syntypes: MNHN 0000-2440 (2) Vanicoro, A-7931 (1) New Guinea; RMNH (1, dry).

Type localitys: India; Vanicoro [Solomon Islands]; New Guinea.

Etymology: Species is named in appreciation after Heinrich Kuhl, who first was discovered.
