- Holotype: ZFMK 82369, adult ♂, collected by P. Krause in March 2002.
- Type locality: “Tanzania: Mt. Hanang Forest Reserve near the village Jorodom (4°25' to 4°35' S and 35°20' to 35°25' E) at 2800 m”.
