Holotype: AM P76939 - male
Type-locality: Tasman Sea, off NE coast of Tasmania, east of Swan Island; 40°45.94'S 149°01.62'E to 40°46.54'S 149°00.27'E. Habitat: marine benthic, 2400-2500 m depth
Paratypes: AM P76941 - female, P76940 - 2 females and 3 broken specimens, NMV J18674 - broken specimen, NMV J18675 - juvenile male and 6 broken specimens
