Type locality: Simla [currently William Beebe Tropical Research Station, 10º41'1"N, 61º16'59"W, Arima Valley, Saint George, Trinidad and Tobago.
Holotype: MCZ. male ♂. 25.IV.1964. legit A.M. Chickering. 20549. PBI_OON 5393.
