Life habit: Lichenicolous fungus (parasite on living lichens)

Type: USA. Arizona. Apache Co.: White Mountains, Apache National Forest, Mount Baldy Wilderness, near beginning of trail 94; on Usnea sorediifera; Holotype ASU, Nash 41941.

Basidiomata: Waxy-gelatinous, very pale to sometimes dark brown.

Hosts: On thalli of Usnea spp., especially Usnea hirta and Usnea sorediifera

Locations: Known from Arizona in the USA, and Norway.

Etymology: Named after Prof. Thomas Hawkes Nash III, main editor of Lichen Flora of the Greater Sonoran Desert Region.
