  • Type material: ?ZSM, presumed lost fide Carter & Dolan (1978: 135).
  • Type locality: “arbustis ad littora fluminis Amazonum”, restricted to the “lower Amazon River below Santo Antônio Dolçá at the mouth of the Rio Icá” by Husson (1962: 204).

Native distribution areas

  • Veracruz (Mexico) to Guianas, Brazil, Bolivia, and Peru; Trinidad.
