Purpose
[edit]This template can be used to collapse parts of the "Taxonavigation" section, for better legibility. The template also adds an "Expand/Collapse" link in order to show or hide the full list of taxon ranks. (See also: {{Taxonav2}}.)
Usage
[edit]- Only use this on Familia template level within "Taxonavigation templates". Adding it to Taxonavigation templates for other ranks will render a so called "template loop" error.
- Change the template used above Familia level from
{{name}}to{{Taxonav|name}} - To display a different name than that of the page being linked to, use as
{{Taxonav|page name|display name}}
Example
[edit]The following shows the code used for the {{Strigidae}} family template:
{{Taxonav|Strigiformes}}
Familia: [[Strigidae]]
It will look like this:
Familia: Strigidae
