  • Typus: J.E. Burrows & S.M. Burrows 9767 (in flower, 24 December 2006; holotypus: PRE; isotypus: BNRH [​BNRH0015714-0]).
  • Type locality: Mozambique. Cabo Delgado Province: Pemba Distr., just W of turn-off to Metuge on the Pemba–Metoro road, 60 m.
