- Typus: F.J. Breteler & C.C.H. Jongkind 10466 ([14 November 1991]; holotypus: LBV [not seen by Degreef]; isotypi: LBV [LBV0038299], WAG {WAG0103521(JSTOR) ['HOLOTYPUS'], WAG0103522(JSTOR)} [both ex LBV]).
- Type locality: Gabon. 5–15 km NNW of Ndjolé.
