Greuter (2003) wrongly synonymised Leuzea under Rhaponticum Vaill. an invalid name, therefore his treatment for Euro+Med can be considered invalid and so all combinations affected were treated as species of Leuzea the next available legitimate name (Hind, 2019) at the time.
