Talk:Raffaello Gestro

Apparently, there is also a second wikidata item for a "Raffaello Gestro" who also lived from 1845 to 1936: Raffaello Gestro (Q21513946) This seems to be based on the linked IPNI record. I attempted to google for any possible plant taxa named by a "Gestro" just in case, but I found nothing. Likewise, I have found nothing to suggest that Gestro was ever anything but a zoologist/entomologist. At best, I have found small references to him being a collector of plants maybe, but not much else. Otherwise, it seems probable that IPNI's "Raffaele(Raffaelo) Gestro" is the same person as the entomologist, but I have no evidence for this. Monster Iestyn (talk) 21:03, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
