This taxon is definitely listed by Treadaway, 1995 as a subspecies of erycinoides, not as Poritia kinoshitai. I can email a copy of the relevant page to anyone who does not have a copy to hand. Accassidy (talk) 21:57, 23 July 2011 (UTC)
- If you look at the page Hayashi has just created on the English Wikipedia, Poritia kinoshitai, it looks like he means to attribute the elevation to full species to Takanami & Seki, only here, instead of that, he kept attributing it to Treadaway, which is incorrect according to Accassidy above (on which case, although I have not seen the paper, I accept the above statement of Accassidy, who has.) - This taxon is indeed treated as a species by Takanami in a web list here:
- Takanami, Y. & Seki, Y., 2001. A synonymic list of Lycaenidae from the Philippines. Edn. 12.
- However, this is not a supporting academic publication. It may well be the case, and Takanami is a reliable author, but should we not reference and reflect published documents, rather than personal web pages. Accassidy (talk) 20:25, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
