Spelling of the epithet[edit]

The original spelling arianae has been changed by Tropicos and IPNI, based on the argumentation, that ICN Art. 60.12 rules that "the use of a termination ... contrary to Rec. 60C.1 is treated as an error to be corrected". As the species is named in honour of Arian Jacobs-Brouwer, according to Rec. 60C.1(b) the epithet would by arianiae. However, it has been overlooked that ICN Art. 60.12 also rules, that "terminations of epithets formed in accordance with Rec. 60C.2 are not to be corrected". The examples given in Rec. 60C.2, i.e. Editha/Edith or Muriela/Muriel, are comparable to Ariana/Arian in this case. So, the original spelling is retained here. --Franz Xaver (talk) 15:42, 9 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
