Talk:Metaxyonycha argentiniensis

The original spelling of the specific epithet was "argentiniensis", with an extra i, not "argentinensis". I would fix this, but this spelling error also seems to be present on iNaturalist so I'm not sure whether I should or not. (Additionally, the fact that Jan Bechyné treated Metaxynycha as Colaspis from 1950 onwards because of an incorrect type species makes me unsure whether to move this species back to Metaxyonycha or not, but that's a separate issue) Monster Iestyn (talk) 03:29, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Update, "Colaspis argentinensis" on iNaturalist has now been replaced with "Metaxyonycha argentiniensis" so I've now done the same here on Wikispecies. Monster Iestyn (talk) 07:24, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
