Correct placement?

[edit]

Personal observation: I suspect that Medvedev in error wrote "(Eumolpini)" when he meant to write "(Eumolpinae)" for this genus's description. Since Medvedev appears to have implied use of Chapuis's tribal arrangement for Eumolpinae in this and other publications, going through the Eumolpinae key in Chapuis, 1874 (starting here) seems to lead to Myochroites (= Bromiini), which would make much more sense than Eumolpini since both Lepina and Pachnephorus are supposedly related to Lepinaria (and that it's named after Lepina in the first place).

That said, unless he already pushed an errata in a later article (I've yet to find one), I'm not sure if I should or can do anything about this oversight. Monster Iestyn (talk) 15:53, 31 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
