Identity of author

"M." of "M. Leprieur" is probably not a given name but rather a common French abbreviation for "Monsieur". The actual full name of the author I suspect is most likely to be Charles Eugène Leprieur, younger brother of François Mathias René Leprieur. However it is not clear to me if it is actually this Leprieur, so I could be wrong. Monster Iestyn (talk) 03:47, 2 March 2022 (UTC)
