This taxon is known only from the Holotype, a male of poor quality illustrated by D'Abrera. However, it does appear distinct from both nubilus and ictis, which occur in Sri Lanka by virtue of a strong dislocation of the forewing discal band. Hence I include it here as a species in its own right, despite the cautionary note of D'Abrera. The original description also notes the high elevation of the type specimen's habitat, which is at variance with other local species. Accassidy (talk) 18:46, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've now discovered a formal synonymisation of greeni with ceylanica by Evans, 1927, who would have had the types available to him. So a redirect has been made. Accassidy (talk) 23:35, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
