Note

[edit]

This delicate little species bears so close a superficial resemblance to A. acamas that it has been treated by every author as synonymous with acamas till the present. The differences are very clear, however, and in view of the excellence of Eversmann's original figure and description there is no excuse for the confusion. The species is not excessively rare, though more limited in its distribution than is acamas. Riley, 1925: 83. Accassidy (talk) 21:29, 10 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Type locality

[edit]

"Southern Kirgistan" ? Kirgisian steppes was name for Kazakhastan in Eversmann's time. So most probably "Southern Kirgistan" is Southern Kazakhstan, but not Kirgistan in modern sense Hunu (talk) 19:21, 26 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
