Name

The page previously stated that 杨笞琨 was the author's original Chinese name. However, it cannot be verified by any Chinese sources, at least not from my research. I do found several Chinese sources, including Q67545646, state that his birth name was 杨济焜, and he changed his name in 1951. Actually, there was an article he published on Acta Entomologica Sinica in 1950 (Q98696699), which was still under his original name 杨济焜. --Stevenliuyi (talk) 06:53, 5 September 2020 (UTC)

If it helps, the claim that 杨笞琨 was his original Chinese name may have come from either the Deceased dipterists page or Evenhuis' Authors of fly names. Monster Iestyn (talk) 16:20, 3 April 2022 (UTC)
