Talk:Bromiini
Changes to this tribe [as Adoxini] in {{Riley, Clark & Seeno, 2003}}
:
- Section Myochroites is now a synonym of Section Iphimeites in Eumolpini (Myochroinae is also placed as a synonym of Eumolpinae, Section Iphimeites)
- Colaspidea is transferred to Section Leprotites
- Glyptoscelis and Myochrous are transferred to Section Iphimeites in Eumolpini
- proper placement of other genera in Myochroites is undetermined
- Section Scelodontites is transferred to the tribe Typophorini (including Graphops)
I do not know if these changes are widely accepted yet outside of North America, since for instance in {{Bouchard et al., 2011}}
both Myochroinae and Scelodontites are still placed in synonymy with the family-group name Bromiini.
