Name[edit]

  • Synodontis albolineatus Pellegrin, 1924.

Holotype: MNHN 1924-0147 (unique).

Type locality: Djoua River at Madjingo, Gabon.

Etymology: Species name albolineatus is a composite from Latin albus (= white), and Latin linea (= line); referring to the white midlateral stripe of the species.
