Lectotype: MNHN A-7312. [Paralectotypes: MNHN A-7313 (1), A-7339 (1). Lectotype designated by Eschmeyer, 1998:186].
Type locality: Saint Valery Bay, near the mouth of the Somme, La Rochelle, coasts of la Manche, France.
