- Type locality: “Quebrada El Silencio, approximately 5 km above the INDERENA cabaña 'Rio Calles' (Parque Nacional Natural 'Las Orquídeas'), Vereda Rio Calles, Municipio Urrao, Departamento Antioquia, Colombia”.
