- Holotype: ZISP 22904, adult ♀, collected by T.C. Ho and N.L. Orlov on 9 November 2003.
- Type locality: “Yen Tu mountain ridge, Uong Bi, Quang Ninh province, northeastern Vietnam; 250–300 m above sea level (a.s.l.)”.
