Scorpaena plumieri mystes Jordan & Starks in Jordan, 1895

  • Lectotype: ?CAS-SU [old no.] 2919 (missing).
    • Lectotype established (as figured specimen) in caption to Pl. 277, p. 3288 in Jordan & Evermann 1900 (if figured specimen is identifiable).
  • Paralectotypes: BMNH 1895.5.27.81 (1) from Jordan; CAS-SU 2980 (1), 11601 (1), 11616-17 (1, 1), 18083 (2); USNM 47450 (1); ZMB 14150 [ex CAS-SU 2919] (1).

Type locality: Mazatlán, Sinaloa, western Mexico.
