Holotype: MZUSP 46651. [Paratypes: MCP 27356 (1); MZUSP 46650 (1), 46652 (1), 46658 (1), 46786 (1), 47910 (1), 53159 (1); USNM 357500-01 (1, 1); ZUEC 4631 (1), 4652 (1,dissected), 46410 (? 4641)(1)].

Type locality: Alcatrazes Archipelago, 24°06'S, 45°42'W, São Paulo, Brazil.
