  • Type: E.H. Wilson 759, May, June & December 1907 (syntype: A).
  • Type locality: China. Hubei: neighborhood of Ichang, roadsides, 30-1000 m.

Almost the same protologue is found in Rehder & Wilson (1916: 191).
