  • Holotype: MNCN 280413.
  • Paratypes: MNCN 281050-281067 (18), 280414 (1).

Type locality: Isli Lake, Imilchil (32.217526, -5.548031), Morocco.

Etymology: The species name viridis refers to its diagnostic greenish coloration in some parts of body and fins.
