[edit]Sagittalarva inornata (Gilbert, 1890)
- Holotype (unique): USNM 44273.
Type locality: Off Baja California, Mexico, 22°52'N, 109°55'W [1], Albatross station 2829, depth 31 fathoms.
Etymology: The specific epithet is the Latin word for unadorned. It refers probably to the condition of coloration which the author found in the preserved holotype at the time of description with all patterns faded out.
